Peter Zaoralek - Founder and President
President of iFLY Vancouver Indoor Skydiving Inc., Peter Zaoralek, has invested countless hours with over 10 years of global research into all aspects of the Vertical Wind Tunnel business, traveled to numerous global locations, flown and experienced 11 diverse Vertical Wind Tunnel facilities, trained extensively in two top facilities and conducted negotiations with top suppliers for the past 3 years.
Peter also brings 15 years of professional construction project management and team leadership skills, having owned and operated a residential and commercial building firm, Frontline Development Corp, based in Victoria, B.C.,Canada.
Committed and experienced to oversee the entire building process of the Bodyflight Center, understanding all required aspects and having ties with numerous sub-trade firms in the local market, Peter has the upper edge to build this facility at the most competitive cost.
Peter will oversee the entire project from construction to operation, and ultimately transition to facility manager and develop and maintain a highly skilled team of professional employees in order to assure the highest standards of operations and customer satisfactions.

Alan Metni – CEO SkyVenture

Alan is the Owner and CEO of SkyVenture. SkyVenture has designed and built commercial and military Wind Tunnels operating around the world
Alan brings to iFly Vancouver Inc. a wealth of knowledge from the experience of having designed and built 15 SkyVenture Tunnels that are in operation throughout the world.
Alan left the practice of law in 1996 to become a professional skydiver. Alan has made over 10,600 skydives and is a multiple US and World Champion of Formation Skydiving. Before joining SkyVenture, he became the largest single purchaser of wind tunnel time in the world. He joined SkyVenture, LLC as its CEO in 2002 and purchased the entire company in 2004.

Randy Knill - Architect

After graduating from the University of Oregon in 1978, Randy returned to Canada and obtained experience in a variety of building types ranging from custom homes on the BC Sunshine Coast to schools, arctic research facilities in Alaska. After working for a variety of local Vancouver firms, Randy started his own firm in 2001, which merged with DA Architects + Planners in 2005.
Randy's recent experience includes large and small-scale retail and commercial sector building types and, most recently, the River Rock Casino Resort, a 500,000-square-foot multi-use destination resort located near the current iFly Vancouver Indoor Skydiving site in Richmond, B.C.
Randy believes strongly that by listening carefully to our clients' needs and then assembling a creative design team where every member is contributing in the area where they excel, the result will be the best possible architecture.

Frank Bourree - (CMC) Principal, Chemistry Consulting Group Inc.
Until June of 2006, Frank was a Partner with Grant Thornton LLP Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants where, for 12 years, he held the position of National Tourism Consulting Director. Frank is a Certified Management Consultant with over 30 years of personal and professional tourism industry experience and is widely recognized as an expert advisor to the industry. Prior to entering the consulting field, Frank spent 14 years with Controlled Foods International and then 10 years as owner/operator of 10 Restaurants. As a Principal with Chemistry Consulting Group, Frank provides consulting services to government and tourism clients throughout Canada.

Charles’ career includes over 25 years of experience as an auditor, chief financial officer and accountant, providing services for a variety of private businesses, not-for-profit organizations and public sector bodies. Charles’ special areas of expertise are the development of financial projections and costing models, financial analysis, controllership, and business valuations, and financial performance benchmarking. |
